Re: Cheney and alcoholism One issue that was not properly explored during the election is whether Dick Cheney still has an alcohol abuse problem. I know a few people who have gottent DUIs in their late twenties or thirties, and every single one of them was an alcoholic. It is impossible to believe that Cheney could have gotten not one, but two DUIs without having a serious and long-term alcohol problem. In the event that he does or did have an alcohol problem, did it or is it contributing to his current health problems? Given that we, the American people, are placing a great deal of trust in Cheney, these questions deserve to be answered.
