The son of Justice Scalia was granted a high paying law job on election day, and the republicans then hired the firm for big bucks. The Supreme Court is not prepared to play in this arena and survive as an institution. They hide in their offices, and when they are in public, they hide behind their black robes. They have a life time job so they probably believe that will escape criticism. Or at least they believe they can ignore it. You could be right though. As the Republican pack the SC court, they'll enforce their values on Americans. One day, with the backing of the Supreme Court, they might even refuse to call a new election. Now that's called a dictatorship. Every country has fallen into the pits at one time or another and never recovered. This may be the beginning of our fall. M..
