I know that feeling. My 401k tech fund had some kind of split the day tech stocks went ballistic. I track it in an SI portfolio, which didn't know that I suddenly had 50% more shares, or whatever it was. So the market went up 10% and the fund showed a 15% loss, or vice-versa, for a one day underperformance total of 25%. I only realized it wasn't my usual karma pattern because a mutual fund losing that much in one day would have to have their top 15 holdings go out of business. I can't even hit that target.
