Folks, I heard a rumor today. I don't know if it is true or not, but I hear that layoffs are beginning to occur at PRLN. According to this rumor, Patty, the receptionist who used to answer the phone, was laid off to save some money. There will be more layoffs over the next few weeks, if the rumor is correct. I just called PRLN to ask if I could speak to Patty and I was told that she no longer works there. They didn't know where she was and they wouldn't confirm that she was laid off (not surprising.) So the only fact that I know is that Patty, the receptionist no longer works there. The rumor has it that this was because of PRLN's economic situation. You can judge for yourself whether the rumor has any validity.

If they reallly wanted to save money, they should have laid Rhodes off.
