**I do expect the SC
to surpass the lowest standard.

You seem to have very high expectations. <g>

Scalia owes us an explanation.

I think that he will take that explanation to the grave with him!!!!

Don't be concerned.. history will not be kind to him.At least he does not have to run for election. His government pension is safe.

SC Justice Stevens seemed to have the best grasp on the matter, saying that the court should have not have taken the case. And that the recount would have been finished by Monday night had the the SC not interfered.

Oh well it's just 48 months till Bush has to make plans for what he is going to do after he leaves the White House. By that time all the Florida counties will have much better voting equipment approved by concerned Democrats.

Will all the Republicans on this thread still love Bush if four years from now AMAT is still below 50? Gottfried will have some ugly charts, and BK and Michael will saying "we have got to be somewhere near a bottom, and other posters will be debating if this is the top or the bottom of the semi cycle."

Congradulations to all the Republicans of the thread. I hope Bush is able to deliver one tenth of what he promised in moving this country forward toward more unity.
