Brian, Carolyn, The Street and all,

Thanks for providing a forum where the Democratic propaganda was reviewed critically. It was a pleasure to have a forum with thinking human beings capable of spewing something besides 3 second sound-bites like "count the votes". Thanks to all that counteracted the Democrats ability to spread their obfuscation over SI in an attempt to undermine Bush's victory.

I had to watch TV for news last night and rely on Brokaw and Donaldson and by comparison Silicon Investor (due in great part to your policing) is a great forum. I don't think Gore (or Brockaw or Donaldson) needed the Supreme Court to tell him that it is unfair to count dimpled chads as votes in highly Democratic areas and to count them as non-votes in highly Republician area. Yet many of the TV anchors and analysts were spinning away last night (much like the work Ellen and lawdog perform for us on SI <g>) feigning disbelief that this vote counting process could be deemed non-constitutional.

Since they made a special effort to defame great justices like Scalia and O'Conner I will leave one last link:
