| Ho, ho, too funny, if not totally fraudulent. The Florida panhandle, in a later time zone, is overwhelmingly Republican, unlike those early-called counties to the southeast (e.g. Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach). Once the media called Florida for Gore, too early, those Republicans in the western panhandle didn't vote. Estimates range from a 10,000 to 20,000 vote differential FOR BUSH. If not for the media, none of this fiasco would have occurred at all. Bush would have won Florida by thousands, on election night. |
