We are reading charts...just like you...we know the basic fundamentals....we buy the dips...play within support- resistance boundries...we watch volume, money flow...market dynamics... There is no secret to following momentum....maybe I am missing your point...it's not that hard...if it was, I couldn't make a living.<g> All stocks go up/down every day...pick one...I can make a 30% gain in whatever it is....just give me the time to do so...1 day 5 day 60 days...who cares...3 trades 10 trades it doesn't matter. It's about money management and avoiding loses...it doesn't get any more basic than that. some days are better than others. traders like to spot swings...big swings in volatile stocks...it's not that hard to do....pick one and trade it...yes, it's true we search for the big movers every day...it doesn't matter if we catch them all, we can't...one 30% gainer a month is all we need..3-5% gains will make you rich. DON'T TAKE LOSES...if your investing in a position there will be times when your position is under water...but only for a brief time.
