Hi Marshall,

Residential wireless isn't my sweet spot, and I haven't fully kept pace with the growing number of alternatives that have surfaced in this space. But I'd venture to say that HomeRF is more a league player with BlueTooth than a major one-on-one threat to 802.11x. HRF will compete with the the 802.3's for user share, however.

I've viewed HRF primarily as an alternative approach to personal area networking, such as B-Tooth, and not a direct overlap with Ethernet, IOW.

A more erudite response is forthcoming from someone else, I certainly hope and trust.
