We all know where Dershowitz stands and how much he loves publicity.

But I think his point that this Supreme Court decision did not flow naturally from the majority's ideological position is a good one.

This was an activist opinion that took a new interpretation of the equal protections clause, one that threw the elections procedures in half the states in the country into consitutional doubt.
