Mike, Sure, FDR was the instigator, but Warren was the Colonel Klink. <g> The Pearl Harbor stuff has always been a conspiracy nut joke. What is the political point in losing your fleet, and perhaps Hawaii and California along with it? You can allow them to attack to force you into a war without allowing them to succeed tremendously with that attack.
