One could ask why post anything on a board where normal human communication has become as mutilated as it has here. Where words no longer have their usual meaning, where logic is a lost art, where ancient events fuel the wrath of the day. At great personal risk, I offer the following--immune to the endless re-accusations of missed projections (an event so rare as to drive sane men to the precipice of rage). From the newspaper: "Ask Jeeves Inc. up 66 cents to $3.97. The company, whose Web site lets users search the Internet, said it will fire about 180 employees, or 25 percent of its work force, to reduce operating costs." So bring on the taunts, the denouncements, the filthy name-calling. Pack cyberspace with all the crud that resides in your being. Meanwhile, I will ponder whether to buy or not to buy.
