I would also be disappointed if Ciena bought a SONET company - I thought the advantage of CoreDirector was price and flexibility and had its sights set on eventually uprooting the SONET stranglehold in the metro . . .I know there is still huge growth potential but its become almost common knowledge the days of SONET hegemony are numbered.
