Robert - Re: "...why are so many INTC haters with INTC thread?"

The most consistent Intel basher is albert kovalyov. He has posted a zillion times and his reasons have become quite clear.

albert used to own Intel - he bought it before the FDIV problem in late 1994. He bailed out of Intel because of the Pentium FDIV problem - he might have even made a few bucks.

However, old albert bought AMD in early/mid 1995 and saw that investoment tumble from the low 30's to about !10 over a period of 12 to 18 months.

Which brings us to today. albert is always bashing intel because he gave up a chance on a 600% - 700% return on Intel. Instead, his AMD has netted him 30% to 50% - not bad, but not 600%!

So, albert never misses an opportunity to try and talk down Intel so that all those who were patient enough to hold on to Intel, or buy it, around the FDIV time, will "lose" their 600% to 700% return. Basically, albert is very upset and disturbed about this loss of profits (that he bailed out on) and he's tremndously jealous of those who have reaped those profits.

This is the basic theme - people who have not participated in Intel's gains are jealous of those that have and try to bash Intel and its stock. Simple psychology - losers try to pull winners down into their hole.
