Hmmm.... Haven't been in lurq mode lately; 'Tis the "time of year" for family. As a semipro lurker, I'm usually moderately adept at "picking up a thread". This time G&K was a little more challenging. So after reading many score of posts: INTC - A time of testing. Transitions are where changes in tech leadership occur. Also, I have a decent memory and the Zilog Z80 experience keeps me wary. That said, I have an Intel position and no AMD position. Personality type - bought the book and took the test about three years ago, result - XXTJ = Fence Sitter. That's O.K. I'm one that's uncomfortable with extremes and strives (doesn't achieve, just strives) for balance. Moderation in all things, especially moderation.
