Flap, I'm familiar with many instances where unions won't allow public dissent by members to their destructive left-wing agendas. If you were (sane and) a Reagan or a Goldwater Republican, or a Libertarian, would your union allow you their platform to publicize your reasoning and views? Why do I doubt it?

Trouble with the Catholic Church is that it's become so focused on one-issue ...

I is such po' white trash that I don't even have a TV, so can't watch Catholics expound. However, I believe that argument applies, in spades, to unions in general.

If the Catholic Church is going to tell people...how to vote instead of..., then start taxing 'em

Serious question, cause I really dunno: Are union cash flows taxed for that very same reason?
