SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- InnovaCom Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MPEG) and Marconi Communications (Nasdaq: MONI) will jointly showcase their broadcast quality, MPEG video networking solutions at TeleCon West 2000, December 6th - 8th at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Demonstrations at the Expo will feature systems and solutions from InnovaCom's TransPEG(R) and MediaWEB families, teamed with Marconi Communications networks and switches. Distance Learning and Videoconferencing with InnovaCom's TransPEG Distance Learning Terminal (TDLT), IP Quality of Service (QoS), IP Multicasting and video playback from servers will all be highlighted applications over ATM and IP networks.

InnovaCom and Marconi's product demonstration highlights the benefits of transmitting jitter-free, broadcast quality video with synchronized audio in room-based distance learning and video teleconferencing networks.
Transmission of high quality video over IP based legacy networks has historically been a challenge due to bandwidth limitations and quality of service issues. InnovaCom's QoS capability enables existing IP networks worldwide to take advantage of real time, high quality video for two-way video conferencing and many other video based applications.
