Nearly 10.3 million ounces of silver coinage was minted and sold by the US government in 1999, and eagle sales continue to be brisk this year. Silver jumped $2.50 an ounce after the word got out that Buffett was bottom fishing--he probably leased or sold the whole works after the run up. Anyway, how much reliability can one place on this poster who is so far off in his facts and figures?
