'morning Kymar,
(unwilling to acknowledge the potential mass psychological) I was very aware of the potential effect. I did some speculative shorting on Monday. After the SC decision Tues night, I fully expected to be toast come Wednes. Instead, to my great relief, the market was unable to take out Mon or Tues high on Wednes a.m., though for a moment in the a.m. it looked like maybe off to the races again. (you can call him Bore) Actually, I call him Bore and the other guy Bush-Whacker so in the interest of fairness, I think I am equally irreverent. I am sure I can provoke further disagreement, but I believe the Reps & Dems are merely two sides of the same coin. As long as I have been politically aware, I have never noticed one bit of difference in my life whether the Main Dude was Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Clinton. Never did I get the feeling that here was an individual who would be a champion of the people. No, in every case, the political machine just keeps on rolling, the people keep getting rolled. Sorry to be so negative, but that has been my consistent perception since Mr. I Am Not A Crook. For the most part though, I keep my political negativity to myself. 'nuff said already...... Sorry. Also, I mentioned I am not 100% the market will tank.... I am saying the charts once again look like it. You bet, if we rally up, take out Mon high, I will close my short position, take a loss if necessary. I am not wearing blinders. You didn't say I was; I just want to be clear that this market confuses me as much as anyone else. The main improvement I have noticed in my trading is that I don't hold on to the last direction as long anymore. I am willing to spin on a dime now - a byproduct of this brutal market to be sure. I always appreciate your posts and have told you before your intelligence, eloquence exhibited in your writing is commendable. Best Regards, Eichler |
