Joe, some news about Sun Micro, gotta get Itanium production ready: From briefing.com 09:28 ET Sun Microsystems (SUNW) 31 3/4: Bernstein says that while quarter appears to be on track, its checks with resellers reveal that no one had access to any UltraSparc-3 based products, and the company's website store states that US-3 products are "delayed"; while not likely to have a material impact on Q2, the news is disturbing in that it suggests there are execution problems with initial US-3 rollout; and that the rollout plan for midrange and high-end US-3 servers scheduled for the first half of 2001 may be further delayed.
