I am on a mission today. Yesterday I mentioned to a friend that I hadn't started Christmas shopping- She was appalled. You'd have thought I had announced that I'd murdered my children, set fire to the house, and run off with the Catholic priest. It must be a yuppiemom rule that I missed- SHE has had her presents wrapped since September. So I am putting on my yuppiewoman Christmas costume and hitting the Grapevine Mall, an enormous place that has street names it's so huge- robot voices announce where you are when you are entering and leaving areas so you don't get confused. ANd there are lots of restplaces where you can get designer coffee and pastries. GOd I dread this. Got a note from CW adding to his list- now he wants a Brita water filter. ?????? Dan says he wants what he always wants- nothing and particularly no underwear. I'm going to buy him underwear and even socks just to be nasty. Besides the market isn't having the miraculous recovery it was supposed to have following the exit of Gore.
