jghutchinson, what did I spell incorrectly? I find it humorous that an engineer can support the track record of a company that wasted 5.6% of their shares on something that is not contributing to the bottom line and then can claim that the company is worth more as a result of it. Be careful about who you are calling ignorant. In terms of valuations, 16 million shares of CIEN were issued for a failed start-up. that is 16 million shares, or over 1.6 billion dollars in buying power that CIEN does not have right now.
