LOL...well, Europeans generally (and especially the French)view Americans and American politicians with an imo unwarranted and somewhat arrogant disdain...spiced with a tinge of envy.

it is fashionable to denounce the US as a cultural wasteland and imperialistic meddler...but everybody likes watching Hollywood made movies, drinking Coke, chewing Wrigley's bubble gum and calling for the help of the US military when things get out of hand nearby....
