he should know from his own study of past bubbles that this is NOT the time to re-inflate the bubble again...rather, the opportunity to clear out the malinvestment from the economy should be welcomed. in any case, like Richebacher said, the best cure for a bubble is to not let one develop in the first place.
once one has allowed a bubble to form, nothing can be done about it anymore...the outcome is inevitable.
