A rate cut on Tuesday would be a shock and I am note sure Greenspan will do that and instead he will go a slower route and just change the bias to neutral with a hint of a rate cut the beginning of next year. The CPI tomorrow is important and if there is no signs of inflation then Greenspan has a green light to start to ease interest rates. HJ
