Steve,

Hey, if I absolutely knew that my long-term core position would be profitable by 2004, I'd probably feel better about it than I do now. (I know that my wife would!)Meanwhile, yesterday I scalped the half point I was willing to settle for and am trying something different today. Over the past several months I've had five profitable spread plays between KEM and VSH. Today I sold 5K of KEM and bought 5K of AVX with AVX at a 5/16 premium over KEM. Lately it's moved several times to a 1 1/4 or so premium, so I'll see if it can replicate those moves again or if I'll be holding AVX in my IRA in lieu of Kemet.

And then there's the question of whether this is fun or not. And the honest answer is that I'm not sure. It's fun winning, but the buying and selling can be tense.

Ron
