The dollar is correcting because US output is slowing. That isn't constructive for gold. If you think the dollar has topped, then you must think the yen has bottomed. Maybe it has. If the yen hasn't, there should be a run on the yen, and that means a whole lot of yen denominated securities will be converted into the dollar. I ask you, would you prefer to hold the dollar or the yen? Or the Euro, for that matter. The ECU is so capitalistic that how could you fail to see the superiority of the idealism of that creation? On the other hand maybe "not worth a Continental" is more future than past.
