keith..."trends, expectations"....

market never does what is expected....no seasonality, if you go back a very long time on the indices, a bit skewed in the recent past due to employer contributions....

i still hold that we began a bottoming over the last week or so, and it will give a clear signal by early 2001....still have concerns about the issues with extreme pe's.....notice the calming action in the lower pe stocks.....most major selling is complete in beaten down stocks that fit the growth/value category....

bear markets, bull corrections, whatever you will name them always come to an end.....just step back and look at historic pattern of the major indices.....when you watch tick by tick, time freezes.....imagine if you last looked at the market in january....what a difference! but no different then if you go away and look at the market next october.....the only thing that you can be assured of is change.....the worse is over for many issues....markets will look beyond economic turn downs, as they just looked toward them...
