I'm not trying to hurt you Freeus. Go back and look up how many times you said you were leaving the market. Then put it on a calendar and notice where the market was each time you said it. In general, it happens with every big market dip.
Then you buy after the market begins to race upward. Toughen up and don't let the market get the best of you. If you are weak in certain areas, then invest in ways that your strengths will aid you. A long term approach, mutual funds, or a basket of quality stocks in different sectors is less unnerving. Stop watching the hourly and daily fluctuations unless you are a seasoned trader. Not only is it unhealthy, but it will wrestle all of your quality holdings from your grasp.
Screw your head on tight.
