{especially if the source note has any significance}

I've almost bought shares in Emcore a couple of times. The first time was in November 1999, which would've been great timing. Unfortunately, I decided to wait because they needed financing at the time and I thought it might dip on dilution concerns. That was a mistake, as they ran it up ahead of the offering.
