Hi Troops :-)

I am posting on this secret board so that I may get a chance to buy more shares before sdws gets too high in price :-)

I just watched a short interview (Sue Herrera-CNBC) with Larry Ellison, after the numbers came out and BEAT the street estimates !!!!! Among other things ORCL "software sales" are growing at around 75% and "database" at 25%, even if database is a much larger component of the business. He did not say a lot but he sure answered all the HARD questions. He said his software is concentrating on the internet, mentioned the "suite" etc., and that perhaps some of the other companies were a TAD behind the times :-) He said one era was IBM & Mainframe, another was Microsoft and PC software, and the new era is, of course :-) what he is doing. Makes ya think what he is doing with Sideware & stuff might be for real :-)
After the interview was over Ron & Sue said something like "The last time he was here he made a lot of promises but sure enough he not only made the promises but he kept them !!! They also said "Now what should the individual investor do..... sell Microsoft and buy Oracle ?????" :-) I guess that's one way of looking at it :-)

I wuz also sorta glad he didn't say that Clinton wuz a great president..... like he did the last time I saw him..... before we had a new President/elect :-)
Cheers
