I don't know why everyone is so down on Vitesse. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems to me the company, and its product, are in great shape. Its digital gallium arsenide circuits are 4-5 times faster than the average computer chip, it has great clients (AT&T, Fuji, etc), and has 60% of the market. Revenues have been up the last three years, and gross margins are up as well. Plus, Wall Street analysts expect sales to increase 30-40% annually for the next few years. EPS were O.17 last year, and are forecast for 0.51 this year and 0.86 next year. Vitesse is not just another silicon stock, and once people finally figure this out, the stock is going to go, and the $34 it hit a few weeks ago was no fluke. I'm in, and for the long haul. I'm not at all surprised that it bounced back today; at $18 it was a huge buy. |
