I think the low of 2520 established on 11/30/00 will hold and was the low for the year. I do not think the NASDAQ will hit the 2000-2100 level, especially with the Fed increasing liquidity and interest rate cuts imminent. If NASDAQ gaps down to 2600 level, I will buy selected tech stocks. Specifically, I will buy those tech stocks I track that completely (or nearly so) retrace their gains from 11/30/00 to 12/8/00.

For example, even though BRCM lost 15% today, it is still nowhere near its 11/30/00 low of 85. The two stocks I hope to buy tomorrow AM are:

PWER: mid 40's
VRTS: mid 80's

These are both franchise stocks that I would be comfortable holding LT.
