Thanks, Steven, I had some winter kill on one rose that was in a pot several years ago. We were away in the winter, and it wasn't covered. It recovered.

The temperature is warmer. It is raining. When it is a tiny bit warmer, I can pull them out of the pots and see how they are doing. I don't believe the roses in the pot drain as well as they should, but they look healthy. They have leaves on them. They are hybrids but I don't know if they are unusual.

How was the weather in LA? Did you enjoy Disney Land?

Do you grow roses? I've ordered 7 to 10. I haven't been able to do what I want to do with one bed so for the past two years, I've changed the roses. This will be the third time. Hopefully, it will be the last. There are two or four others that I may order. The problem is that I fine new ones every year that I want to try out. If they don't work out, I order something else. Roses are a lot of work. It takes awhile to get them established. I try to order disease resistant varieties.

The nursery wanted to ship in early January. I said, "No Way." We could have snow.

Thanks for your post,

Mephisto
