CPI today at 8:30 ET

The early tone will be set by the release of the November consumer price index, where the headline component is forecast to post a 0.2% increase over October and the core component (excl food & energy) is also forecast to tally a 0.2% rise from the previous month.

In addition:

Industrial Production numbers will be released at 9:15 ET, and are expected to be unchanged from the previous month's -0.1%. Capacity Utilization (for release at the same time) is expected to be 82.1% in November.
