Wes, I wouldn't go that far as to say a nominal uptick in tobacco prices is going to determine whether or not AG lowers rates. There's no doubt that a shift to an easing bias is in the cards and that eventually the FED will lower rates. Remember, the last rate hike most likely has not affected the economy yet, as monetary policy effects really tend to lag. We will probably continue to see a steady slowdown in growth and the next several rounds of inflation stats will confirm this. AG (as evidenced by his address last week) apparently already knows what lies ahead.

Futures appear to like the numbers also. Relief rally??
