No, it isn't that. He may be holding a loser too long, for example. Or perhaps putting stops too tight. Could be anything. But without us seeing what he is doing then he's just going to get discouraged if it's day in, day out of dropping money. Who knows, it could be just bad luck. One certainly does not want to trade real money if the paper trading is losing money.
