Bosco, Weltanschauung? If by that you mean a unified theory where everything in the universe can be wrapped up by a unified solution to all the problems in our existence and everything can be known conclusively, (vbg) then I find that hard to believe. I like the stoics, some of the best comedians are stoics. Gödel incompleteness theorem itself shows that even any branch of mathematics (including statistical hypothesis about ballot counters & median income of precincts (vbg)) will have some propositions that cannot be proven true by rules or axioms. Since that day, I realized that the universe is a dark and foreboding place, with the sum of human intellect nothing but a meaningless jumble of random bits. Given the odds against us coming out of this experience called life unscathed, it is better to enjoy flying kites while you can. --- yup, enough fertilizer from me too. (vbg) SbH
