Elwood;

When I liked it at 32 it was a turnaround story with a new ceo and the economy looked rosy and hopes were that cpq would attain its old highs. When I liked it at 20 the stock appeared to me to have been unfairly hammered due to aapl's warning. Furthermore, MC had just stated that thanksgiving sales were robust and IT spending had not seen a slowdown and he had no reason to alter guidance. So I naively believed MC and felt that cpq was merely painted with the same negative brush that applied to all the computer makers. After all, wasn't cpq more than a mere boxmaker? Well things have changed dramatically in the course of a week or two. MC has proven to be less than totally truthful and the economy, particularly as it relates to cpq, has proven to be much worse than the pundits have claimed. So my view of cpq is now quite different - for the worse. I had some hope and faith in MC. That is now lost and hence the reason for me to stay with this pos is now gone.
