Something the socialists, liberals, and anti-capitalists don't or won't understand: price controls ALWAYS lead to shortages and higher prices.

Look at rent control in NYC or in any other major city. The price controls Nixon put on. And on and on.

Now it's coming to Californicans.

It's the triumph of short-term, "worry about now now and let the future worry about the future" thinking. The reason it works is that the now people get support while they're around, and they aren't around to take the heat when the future arrives.

Stupid. But that's the liberal/socialist mindset.
