If you look at the 50pt naz chart and compare the inverse of what looks to be a higher low forming with the lower high from last March, it may give a mildly optimistic outlook. xocharts.com With a likely bias change next week, I suspect that the short term downside (from here) is limited (where have I heard that before). Remember that CSCO announces earnings after everyone else. Earnings warnings are just coming out for the upcoming earning season, so CSCO wouldn't be pre-announcing until the first week of January anyway. But you know that ain't gonna happen. VIX coming up to the BRL. Suggests a buy point. Naz tick got below -1000 so we had some decent selling pressure (no capitulation level tick yet though). Lowest Tick level since the end of November.
