He's not that bad off. He gets a pension of $94,000/yr, the Virginia house (built by his father for about $75K) is worth about $400K, total assets (mostly inherited property) are worth $1.9 million, has a ranch in TN, and he has $8K in his IRA (that's all!!!). Since he was a former journalist, maybe he can write some articles on what it's like to lose an election "by a nose." Unfortunately he's not worth much on the lecture circuit. Poor guy. I feel badly for Tipper. Hope she doesn't get depressed again. I voted for Bush. Can you guess that?
