What is going on with this company? Ever since the merger
it's gone into the crapper! Are the rats taking the booty to the "Vast Solutions" spinoff and leaving the ARCH shareholders high and dry?

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Dec 15, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Arch Wireless, Inc.

Frazee, former chairman and chief executive officer of Paging Network, Inc.
(PageNet), which merged with Arch Wireless in November, also serves as chairman
of Vast Solutions, Inc., the former PageNet subsidiary that was spun off as an
independent entity in connection with the Arch merger. Arch Wireless said Frazee
noted in his resignation that it was not in the best interest of Arch Wireless
or Vast for him to serve as chairman of both companies in light of the time
commitment required of him to assist with Vast's business development.

Arch Wireless also announced that C. Edward Baker, Jr., chief executive officer,
was elected to the additional position of chairman of the board of directors.
Baker had served as chairman and chief executive officer from May 1989 until the
completion of the merger between Arch Wireless and PageNet.

"We are grateful to Jack for his significant role in making the Arch and PageNet
merger a reality," said Baker. "We wish him well in his future endeavors."
