David, The best I can ethically do is say the concept is discussed in Noble's well-known book "The Trader's Edge." One simply uses an inflation adjusted chart of the market in question, then performs standard Elliott Wave analysis. He used Media General as a source for his charts. Highly recommend the book. Here's the link for the Dow, but it is a pay service. You can probably find a cheaper/free way of getting the data and doing the chart yourself, or someone on this thread ought to be able to do that. mgfs.com Cheers, Tuck Disclaimer: Own the book.
