Monty,

I disagree. The markets will rally when Greenspan cuts rates. The big question is on the follow through with Greenspan. As we all know the economy in the U. S. is like a big ship and it takes time to turn. Just like the last 50 basis raise in May is now really sinking in rate drops take just as much time to sink in.

The problem here is that there has been a big break-down in investor psychology that will take time to repair.

Are we going to have a recession.. Maybe...A depression, absolutly not! Their are too may structural strengths in our economy vs the 1930's.

What I now see coming over the horizon is the Mother of buying opportunities coming up in just days that I have not seen in the markets in 15 plus years.

Am I worried....Absolutely not! Experience tells me otherwise.

Time to sell, buy or shut up everyone!

regards,

Eric
