"While both companies, EMC and Sun, are leaders...a
slowdown in corporate IT spending can impact both
companies' financial performance -- gravity is bound to
take over," Neff wrote in a note to clients.

I agree with Neff. In a slow down environment, NetApp is in
an unique and more competitive position to compete against
EMC.

The slow down plays into NetApp's strength, because its products
are built on the premise that they are
simple to install
simple to maintain
does one thing very well and
has price to performance ratio advantage over it's competitors.

When the slow down finally recovers, NetApp will be in a stronger
position. So I picked up NTAP shares.
