the NFL allows for one replay of a call, that has a limited time limit. Tim, at the risk of abusing everyone's patience on the thread, the ref gets complete ,unubstructed, undisturbed time to conduct the review. We never got that to happen, because Bush's lawyers, filibustered effectively. The FL Supreme Court took it apon itself to allow extra rounds of "reviewing the call".
