When the FED raised 1/2 point earlier this year (I forget the month) that's when the market got in trouble. Then they went an additional 1/4 point the following month. That's when the market got lost. Then they jaw boned further worry after that, into a very very difficult election result. That's when the market entered into the current recessionary fears.

This is like a parent physically beating their children to the point they need medical attention then locking them in their room instead of getting them that medical attention.

I don't think the average individual realizes how much effect the FED really has until it's much too late.

I think this is more about the fear the FED and other effected parties (?) had when unemployment dropped too low for comfort. They need to keep the masses wanting and needing.
