Season's greetings everyone,

I feel a compelling<g> need to come here and confess my worst stock purchase decision of the year - MSFT - a Buffettology type pick.

At least this was the worst pick from a price performance perspective. I'm don't feel the long term picture for MSFT has changed much since I purchased it, but obviously my timing on this was terrible. I took the loss about a week ago for capital gains this year and will reevaluate for purchase after 32 days.

This was yet another example of where I averaged down through MSFT's decline, increasing my exposure to a poorly trending stock. For some reason it's still so hard for me to resist these type of buys, but more often than not they burn me.
