I'm not.......I think you'll see a down market for 2001, recessionary fears come true, and health care costs spiral out of control. The surplus expected will not materialize as large as expected causing Bush to cancel or markedly reduce the tax giveaways. I'm sorry to be so gloomy but after 10 years of robust growth, the economy will sputter and job growth will dwindle. You see it in the tech stocks where MSFT has for the first time in 10 years prewarned earnings and revenue growth slowing.Microsoft's warning, its second ever, adds to a swelling number of technology bellwethers to caution investors and analysts that revenue and profit forecasts are too high given slowing global economies. Microsoft last warned in March 1989. Hand on to your seats......the ride from here will be bumpy.
